A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a virtual school setting. This role involves providing comprehensive speech therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple private school locations in Chapel Hill, NC.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering telepractice speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload spanning various age groups.
- Collaborating with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and student progress.
- Utilizing evidence-based strategies to address speech and language disorders virtually.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and school policies.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active North Carolina license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working as a VOCO Speech-Language Pathologist preferred; candidates classified as SLPA or SLP-CF are not eligible.
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently within a virtual environment.
- Strong communication skills tailored to remote interaction with students, parents, and educators.
The position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options, averaging 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The contract extends until June 5, 2026, allowing for continuity of care during the academic year.
